This page records the documented forward direction for OasisCore. Everything below is drawn from internal planning material and the published DigiFX roadmap, and none of it should be read as a commitment or a delivery date.
01Persistent shared environments
The DigiFX public roadmap places OasisCore in Phase 03, marked 2028 and planned, described as persistent, shared virtual environments that are always on and always live. It sits there alongside eXperience Over Media, a live broadcast layer, and an enterprise tier for multi-tenant and white-label deployments.
This is a meaningful change in shape, not an increment. The current model is campaign-shaped: a hunt has a start, a fourteen-day arc, and an end. A persistent environment has none of those, which changes almost every design assumption underneath, including how content is refreshed without an end date, how reward scarcity holds up over an indefinite run, and how a leaderboard stays worth entering when there is no finish line. Whether that direction extends the hunt model or supersedes it is not stated anywhere and is the first question to settle.
02Enterprise and white-label deployment
The roadmap's enterprise tier item covers multi-tenant and white-label deployments for studios and brands. For OasisCore this would mean partners running their own branded activations on shared infrastructure rather than DigiFX producing each one directly.
The technical prerequisites are visible in the existing design. Reward inventory and rarity governance, scoped access tokens, and per-hunt claim binding are already tenant-shaped concepts. The unbuilt parts are the ones that always are: tenant isolation of catalogue and participant data, self-service campaign authoring, and a support model that scales past a production team. No source states that work has started.
03Ecosystem integration
Internal planning tracks a sequence of integration items connecting Oasis to the wider estate: an API client for the platform, integration of AR discovery data, relic hunt tracking, storyline analytics, and integration with the public domain. These are recorded as open items at medium priority.
Storyline analytics is the one with direct customer value. It is the difference between reporting that a hunt happened and reporting how participants moved through a narrative, where they stalled, and which locations underperformed. That is the reporting layer a client running a second campaign will ask for by name.
04Deployable stations
The ecosystem's terminal documentation describes a mobile terminal as a future deployment model: a phone or tablet with a reader attachment running the terminal service in the background, with temporary registration and short-lived credentials, aimed at pop-up events. Compared with the fixed and networked station models already documented, this would let a physical relic point be stood up for a weekend rather than installed permanently, which fits activation work better than fixed hardware does.
05How to read this page
Two horizons are in play here and they have not been reconciled: a public roadmap pointing at 2028, and an internal integration list sized in hours. Until DigiFX aligns them, treat this page as direction of travel rather than as a plan.
