OasisCore is taken to market as an experiential capability sold through DigiFX rather than as a self-serve developer product. This page describes the strategy as it is currently documented internally, and marks clearly where decisions have not been made.
01Positioning
DigiFX company copy places OasisCore inside its experiential marketing practice, paired with the Immersive Agency Platform, with the stated purpose of increasing audience engagement and generating more users through interactive media and interactive entertainment. The platform is described in the company portfolio as a geo-located AR and physical experience platform.
That positioning is deliberate. The competitive field for generic AR filters and QR activations is crowded and price-driven. Location-verified quests with a governed reward economy are harder to assemble, which is where DigiFX argues the defensible ground is. The value being sold is the whole activation, including the narrative, the physical route, and the reward settlement, rather than an AR viewer on its own.
02Target markets
Internal platform documentation names three deployment domains for the Oasis platform: gaming, tourism, and education. The agency-side framing points at a fourth, brand and retail activation, where the buyer is a marketing team rather than an operator of a venue or a curriculum.
These four are not equally developed, and no source ranks them. The practical read is that brand activation is the nearest-term revenue path because it matches DigiFX's existing agency relationships and campaign-length engagements, while tourism and education imply longer, license-shaped deals against permanent installations. Confirming that order is a founder decision, not an inference this page should make.
03Sequencing
The DigiFX public roadmap places OasisCore in Phase 03, dated 2028 and marked planned, described as persistent, shared virtual environments that are always on and always live. It appears there alongside XOM, a live broadcast network, and an enterprise tier offering multi-tenant and white-label deployments for studios and brands.
The enterprise tier is the meaningful strategic item. It signals an intended shift from DigiFX running each activation as a bespoke production to partners deploying their own branded instances on shared infrastructure. That is the difference between a services business with a good tool and a platform business, and it is the single largest open question in the OasisCore plan.
Separately, platform documentation records six hunts scheduled across global cities. Whether that is a committed geographic rollout or an internal planning scenario is unresolved and should not be presented publicly as a commitment until confirmed.
