DigiFX does not publish an antivirus product. This page describes the security and privacy controls documented for the Media Console platform and the software suite, and states where protection remains the customer's responsibility.
01Platform-level controls
The platform FAQ states four things about data protection: encryption for data in transit and at rest, regular security audits, compliance with industry standards and regulations, and user access controls and permissions so that only authorized personnel reach sensitive information.
Read those as product positioning, not as a security specification. No framework is named, no audit cadence or auditor is given, and no cryptographic detail is published. Customers running a security review will need answers direct from DigiFX rather than from this page.
02Controls inside the software modules
Each module in the suite carries its own security and privacy area:
- Agency — content encryption and DRM, active user data protection, compliance with privacy regulations.
- Create — content encryption and secure sharing, user data protection, password and data security.
- Stream — content encryption, DRM protection, and user-data compliance, plus a content-moderation layer covering automated review, community-guidelines enforcement, and a report-and-flag system.
- Social — privacy settings, data protection, content security, and a distinction between public gathering spaces and invite-only rooms.
- Agency access control — user roles and permissions, which is the practical control for limiting who can publish or export project assets.
03Digital-asset security in DFX Exchange
Exchange handles wallets and digital currency, so its security surface is larger and worth calling out separately. Published features include two-factor authentication, biometric login, and cold storage support; hardware wallet integration with Ledger and Trezor, including secure signing and device management; and wallet backup and recovery covering seed-phrase management, cloud backup options, and recovery procedures.
Exchange also lists a privacy feature set — privacy coin support, transaction mixing, and anonymous trading. These carry jurisdictional and regulatory implications that are not addressed anywhere in the published material. Do not describe compliance posture for these features until DigiFX supplies one.
04What this page does not cover
Three exclusions matter for support conversations:
- Endpoint protection. Antivirus and EDR on customer workstations, laptops, and mobile devices is not something DigiFX supplies. Customers keep their own endpoint tooling.
- Asset scanning. Nothing published states that uploaded models, textures, or media are scanned for malicious content.
- Incident and disclosure process. There is no published security contact, disclosure policy, or incident-response commitment. Security reports currently route through the general contact form.
