Components are the individual capabilities you assemble a runtime from. The platform ships 57 of them across 8 groups. Selecting a component set is the third step of the quick start, after choosing an environment and applying a theme.
01How the groups work
One group is included with every runtime package. The remaining seven are add-on groups. The catalog does not map these groups to package families — several add-on groups have no same-named package, and several packages have no component group.
| Group | Components | Scope | |---|---|---| | Included | 8 | Ships with every runtime package | | Ecommerce+ | 8 | Product catalogs, search, and checkout | | Broadcast+ | 5 | Capture, tracking, and live broadcast | | Environment+ | 8 | Spatial capture, classification, and layout | | Fulfillment+ | 4 | Shipping, logistics, and geographic anchoring | | Feature+ | 16 | Account, session, and platform-wide behaviors | | Information+ | 4 | Data collection, tagging, and scene processing | | Assist+ | 4 | AI assistance, emotion capture, and payments |
02The included set
Every runtime package carries the same eight components, and they define the platform's baseline:
- Product Anchoring System — places products, media, and content into the space. This is the platform's core augmentation primitive.
- Immersive Ad Systems — an ad services client integrated into the runtime.
- Procedural Generation System — preset layouts built from prefabricated scaled models.
- Digital Content Uploader — brings customer media into an environment.
- Main Capture System — lidar scanning, anchor generation, and the API surface for both.
- Main Controller System — hardware configuration for wearables, controllers, mobile devices, and external gear.
- Preset Layouts — the layout catalog, which draws on the anchoring system, broadcast, and AI.
- Sequential Updater — automatic bi-monthly storage container backup and migration.
03The add-on groups
Ecommerce+ turns an environment into a store: vendor API integration for live price and rating data, customizable storefront layouts, catalog integration, one-touch checkout, product database search, an elastic search engine, category directory listings, and automated product image tracking.
Broadcast+ covers live capture and distribution: camera scene capture, device motion tracking, interactive media implementation into existing platforms, group broadcast hangouts, and immersive broadcast integration.
Environment+ is the spatial intelligence layer — mapping, interpretation, classification, texturing, and procedural layout. See Environments.
Fulfillment+ closes the commerce loop after checkout with shipping and labeling logistics, geographic anchor systems, automated distribution against profile preferences, and mapping API integration.
Feature+ is the largest group and the least glamorous: authentication, cross-platform sign-in, user preferences, profile setup, onboarding, session management with cloud sync, subscription services, console platform integration, and the Social Construct hooks.
Information+ handles new-user integration, demographics collection, category trigger tags, and advanced scene processing.
Assist+ provides the environmental virtual assistant, customizable onboarding flows, emotion response and capture, and a secured payment gateway with multi-provider support.
04Selecting a set
Components are purchased through packages rather than individually; the catalog does not state which packages carry which component groups. Decide which groups your campaign actually needs before pricing — an environment that never sells anything does not need Ecommerce+ or Fulfillment+.
